Last Friday, I actually got home before it was dark.

Gasp! So... I ate outside since it was a nice early evening meal.



Very bad risotto and baked beans (which don't go well together btw). A side of roasted veggies. Salad with sliced tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, and thousand island dressing. H20.

Dinner?

Roasted chicken with stuffing and mashed potatoes. Fresh fruit. H20.

Tilapia with veggies and rice. Salad with hard boiled eggs and thousand island dressing. Cream of broccoli soup. H20. Watermelon.

Carb carb carb!

Spaghetti and meatballs. Salad with grape tomatoes, olives, hard boiled eggs, and thousand island dressing. H20. Lime Jello.

Pasta me, baby

Pasta primavera, creamed spinach, and what I only can hope is mashed potatoes. Salad with hardboiled eggs and thousand island dressing. Chocolate mousse. H20.

Don't get all sloppy

Webster's attempt at Chinese?

The chicken in the cashew chicken was super dry and tough. Avoid this entree.

Sunday Dinner 1

On Sundays, dinners are served in the afternoon so that the kitchen staff can have a night home with their families. *collective awww*

Sliced brisket with baked potato. Salad with tomatoes, hard boiled egg, and thousand island. H20 and apple juice.

Cafeteria food

New York's The Webster Apartments offers free breakfast and dinner to the residents. The food is essentially like dormitory/cafeteria food.

I often miss dinner here because of work or socializing after work. But I also thought it would be fun to share with people who are potentially interested in moving into the place - even for a short time.

Almost all of the photos are shot with my iPhone, so apologies for the quality.

I should also note that I rarely get it, but there is a vegetarian option available daily. The same goes for the daily dessert.
